ESA South’s Roots

One marine is an unstoppable force. Imagine the potential when two Marines join forces to build a shared vision. Malcolm Gibson and Sean P. Harmon did just that in 1999, capitalizing on each other’s strengths surpassing their original vision.

Malcolm contributed a 30-year successful history in construction as the founder of a very prosperous asbestos abatement, demolition, insulation, and fireproofing firm, EnviroSafe Air (ESA). Sean brought his expertise in operations and business management and convinced Malcolm that the warm weather of the Florida Panhandle was a great location for ESA South.

With their leadership, ESA has grown from a small firm doing local construction to a competitive design-build firm with a strong foothold in the federal sector with a wide array of military and federal projects. With our unprecedented growth in the past few years, we are looking forward to seeing how far we go in the next 20 years!

Many of our team members started in the field and have experienced many different roles, growing into regional managers, directors, and vice presidents. We listen to where our team wants to grow and help them set a path for development.
